Bulloch House in Kilifi

This is a unique Swahili style house, with Mexican origins, located in lush tropical gardens overlooking Maweni beach, to the north of Bofa.

The central open plan living/dining area looks over a large free form beach edge pool to the sea.

There are two bedrooms in the south wing, both en suite, and three bedrooms in the north wing with the first floor room being en suite and the two ground floor rooms sharing a bathroom.

Dhow house in Kilifi

The Dhow House is a unique, magnificent, spacious, two storey, five double bedroomed house in a landscaped garden, situated on a coral cliff overlooking the Indian Ocean at Kilifi and cooled by a gentle sea breeze.

Access to a private sandy beach and the sea is via a walk-through tunnel, which has been dug through the coral. Walks at low tide are possible to nearby Takaungu passing no one other than the occasional local fisherman.

Kusi house in Kilifi

The house is built in three two storey units around a swimming pool, with two double rooms in each of the north and south wings and a double master bedroom over the kitchen and main verandah in the centre. All rooms are ensuite and have their own verandahs, and there are several terraces which favour views inland at sunset.
As the cliff top is not fenced, this house may not be suitable for young children unless they are closely supervised

Dancing Baobab is located on the cliffs at the mouth of Takaungu Creek with splendid views out to sea and up the creek.
The ground floor of this somewhat eccentric house (built to the requirements of an author) has a double ensuite bedroom at each end of a long “living” verandah, with a kitchen off to the side.

The first floor is one long verandah, under a makuti roof, with a large bathroom off to the side.

Here there are double beds at each end of the verandah, separated from a central sitting area by moveable screens. This area has a large circular bed that can sleep two, if required.
